Nice but 6 ply double knit/aran NOT 4 ply
I bought 3 balls of this yarn to make a baby cardigan. It is labelled 4 ply, but is in fact 6 ply. The tension I realised too late is quoted as 20 sts and 25 rows to 10 cm with 3.25mm needles on the label. The tension and yarn length for 100g quoted are somewhere between aran and double knit, but when shopping one does not usually remember typical yarn lengths. It says 4 ply and suggests 3.25mm needles. On 3.25mm needles the fabric is too firm and hard. I like thinner yarn. I am extremely disappointed, and cannot return it due to travelling cost and having knitted a tension square. The label is misleading and a misrepresentation.

Will buy again in future. I have knitting ideas.
First time using this yarn and I'm knitting a baby kimono. Lovely to work with though there are one or two anomalies in the yarn but they are at the bottom back of the kimono o it doesn't really stand out. I've been curious to try this yarn for a while and have bought some in pink too.

Beautifully soft and silky
As stated in my previous review, my first attempt at knitting for many years was a small teddy bear and this yarn was perfect for his trousers. I especially liked the shade which is akin to denim.

Super soft yarn.
This yarn is unbelievable at the price it costs. I'm knitting a lacy scarf and I've already had comments how soft and silky the yarn is. It knits well and my scarf looks really expensive :)

Feels lovely
I bought this at the weekend. Complicated pattern I am working on. Yarn splits and several knots only on the first ball, very disappointed

Gorgeous soft yarn
Crocheted a jumper for my 18 month old grandson with this. It is lovely and soft, great stitch definition.

Don't glue the wool together
Wool is great but the paper surround is glued directly to the wool so it's a pain to start using the wool

Poor choice of ysrn
Very poor selection of yarn in the Edinburgh branch of Hobbycraft. I
will only shop there if desperate.
