A load of old ballast
I purchased this for my 14 year old son for his Hornby train set up. This is apparently the best thing in the world... ever.
To the untrained eye it looks like a bag of stones, and indeed if that’s what butters your crumpet then you’re in luck!
This has product has provided hours of entertainment for my son, who is taking his hobby obsession to new heights spurred on by this purchase. I however need sedating.

Excellent Ballasting Material
I bought this ballast for my 00 guage model rail track after reading several reviews on the product. After laying small amounts at a time, wow what a result. This stuff is absolutely brilliant and is making the track far more realistic than I ever anticipated. Great product Woodland Scenics.

Perfect size for OO gauge track
I used this product as ballast for a OO gauge railway and the size of the grit gave the perfect look.
It flows easily if you cut the corner off the bag so all in all a fine product.
Will be using this again in the future.

Easy to apply
Used PVA glue for application; easy to apply and paint over. Packaging is on the thin side so be careful when opening, recommend transferring into a container as the bag just isn't suitable for storage

Blast gravel
Great product easy to use. The only problem was some of the bits of gravel turned pink so dilute the pva glue with less water on the next application

Useful modelling product
Woodland scenics products are great quality and unbelievably realistic. Would reccomend for diaromas, train layouts and other model based scenes.

Fantastic value
More than I thought in the bag. Managed to get 3 good sized dioramas out of it for 1/18 model cars. Excellent value for money and we'll worth it.
