A Very Enjoyable Build
One of the newer Airfix tools, and a very nice kit. The forward bulkhead is a tight fit, but will go without filing (although I did give it a quick pass just to make the final assembly easier). Toughest part was the big red cross roof decal; that took some care to place properly. Also, Airfix has slyly included decals allowing you to recreate perhaps the most famous K2/Y -- "Katy" from "Ice Cold in Alex."

Nice kit, but normal issues.
This is a nice enough kit but sadly has the normal issues you'd expect. Some of the fitting isn't great and I had to file away a large part of the bottom of the bulkhead to actually make it fit. Over all its OK.

Airfix quality
Airfix newly tooled kits go together really well the quality is up there with the best like tamiya. Hobbycraft prices are exactly the same price as Airfix online but you save on shipping costs. Go treat yourself

A great kit of an interesting subject.
This kit is superbly detailed, comes with a great decal sheet for three options of the ambulance once built. The instruction sheets in modern airfix kits are up there with the best.

Great, but could have been perfect.
I havnt built it yet. Id like to have had the option of a figurine with it. Or better still princess elizabeth from 1942, when she worked on it.
