Fantastic for thicker materials
The knife blade is very precise when cutting out thicker materials. I used it to cut out heavy chipboard. The only thing you have to be aware of is the debris from the cuts as sometimes the machine will need to cut multiple times. A quick sweep for any loose bit helps this and avoids these bits get stuck in the machine. This blade has opened up new materials and projects for the future.

Very sharp
I've been wowed by all the wood cutting projects I've seen so had to have this blade. It was pretty scary the first time I used it, but everything cut beautifully and my mat came out in one piece too! I've never worked with wood before, but I'm glad I took the plunge as I could never had cut such an intricate design by hand.

Brilliant and long awaited blade
I have been trying to get a knife blade for my Cricut, since they were announced. I had no clue HobbyCraft have such a great stock of all things Cricut. I emailed the store and didn’t expect a quick reply, but they did! He told me there were two so off I went! I bought Basa wood, loaded up the Maker and off she went! The blade cut neat and perfect (sanded a few bits). This is a great bit of kit! Thank you HobbyCraft for your experienced and helpful staff.

Great addition to the Cricut maker
I am a big Cricut fan and have just bought myself the Maker and gifted my Air2 to my daughter. This is a great tool giving many possibilities with wood. A little pricey but well worth it.
