The Rolls Royce of colour pencils!
I bought this set as a starter set and have since added to my collection from Hobbycraft's open stock, buying just the colours I needed. Make no mistake, using a quality product will improve results.

Very pleased
Very pleased with these pencils, quality is in my opinion after using other brands, superior to others, can sharpen them with no problems of breakage, colours are vibrant and they apply beautifully and easily onto my paper, I had read in reviews that the purple colours were lacking in this pack, so I bought 2 extra ones in that colour, as I love purples , and single colours are available to buy on their own at Hobbycraft.

This product is perfect!
These pencils are presented in a very nice tin, they feel buttery-soft when colouring, and have such good pigmentation, I would definitely recommend if drawing and colouring is your enjoyment and everyday hobby :)

worth the price
My husband had bought me a very cheap pack of colouring pencils for Christmas -he thought they all did the same job ! they broke very easily so I persuaded him to buy me some better ones ! very impressed .

Delighted with these excellent coloured pencils.
Have never used these coloured pencils before so bought a set of 24 and soon got creating. Very pleased with them . They are very hard wearing and are good for layering and only one so far broke on me. I would definitely recommend them and bought them on a special offer at Hobbycraft

Beautiful, easy to blend colours
Beautifully vibrant colouring pencils that are lovely to work with. They layer easily and blend together seamlessly. This set is lacking in skin tones / pinks and purples, but it’s a great starter set that can be added to, as individual colours are available to buy separately.
Highly reccomended if you want a great, high quality set to get you started with pencil work.

Fabre castle polychromos pencils
Normally I’m a little sceptical about the more expensive option but these pencils really are a cut above they glide effortlessly across the paper leaving you the best results I would truly recommend trying them.

As a novice 'artist', who therefore makes mistakes, can you erase errors easily? I'm led to believe you need to use a black eraser, when using black card, which is what I intend to do. Just wondered if anyone can shed some light. Thank you in advance.
Not sure about using a black eraser. I use the pink eraser pencil. To be honest I haven't used much black card. I colour maily on parchment and white card.
