Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good as Revell enamal 90 Silver Metallic paint Usually I buy Revell, however unfortunately Revell has been removed from stores and has been replaced with Humbrol. I used this Humbrol metallic GREY ( not silver) paint for plastics. ( in the past I have used Revell Paint for plastics). I have found the Humbrol paint has a bad sticky silver finish, compared to Revell's (Silver Metallic Enamel Paint 14ml (90)). Please note Humbrol 191 Chrome Silver paint was out of stock in my local store. However, from youtube and ebay it looks like it has a darker silver compared to Revell, yet it is chrome( ie more shiny than revell). Revell has a lighter silver colour. I was disappointed I have to buy Revell somewhere else online . pros/cons: + The paint is easer to remove then Revell paint. + paint covers well without brush marks - The silver is like grey gunmetal (not silver). The paint is like a glitter gel pen and is more sticky then Revell. Revell Silver Metallic Enamel Paint 14ml (90) has a better silver colour. - The paint takes longer dry (over 24 hours). The specs say 10 days. Revell takes 24 hours.

is it waterproof

Asked by: paintmeawinner
Yes, once dry it will be water and pretty much everything proof. I have been using these paints for years now and have always got very good results. You will need white spirit or shop supplied thinners to clean your brushes and thin the paint when required though. Hope this helps!
