Humbrol Enamel Satin Paint is perfect for modellers looking for a high quality, tough finish on every project.

With a huge range of colours available, it can be used for a wide range of art and crafts, on many surfaces and as a touch up or surface paint around the home and for DIY applications. It’s suitable for indoor or outdoor usage.

The solvent-based, fast-drying paint was developed for use on plastic model kits but can also be used on other substrates, including wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard and more.

Each 14ml tin covers approx. 0.3m² depending on thickness of application. It can be brushed on straight from the tin, or you can apply using an airbrush with a suitable thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KeithDS from Problems with Humbrol Enamel Normally, Humbrol enamels are good but on this occasion I had problems. Either the tin was very old stock or it had not been stored correctly. On opening, the solvent base had become separated from the pigment and matting solution. No amount of shaking and stirring would make it mix. The separated solids were the consistency of cottage cheese. As no "Sell by date" is printed on the labels, it is impossible to tell how old the tins are.

Rated 1 out of 5 by NickolaiPie from Tin of enamel paint not as advertised. Contaminated tin ? It appears to be - the paint was a very dark blood-red and sludgy- even after vigorous stirring. Nothing like the colour it is supposed to be.
