The product is intended for attaching clear parts, eg. cockpit canopies, windscreens, etc. It also can be used for making windows on airliner models.
If you model railways, Clearfix can also be used for attaching etched brass numberplates and nameplates to locomotive bodies. A couple of small drops on the rear of the plate is all that's required. Once you have it aligned, leave to dry for 24 hours. Any excess dried Clearfix can then be gently scraped away with a cocktail stick.
The product may turn "gloopy" over time. Unfortunately, the label does not specify a thinner. However, I have discovered that Isopropyl Alcohol is an excellent thinner.
The product is expensive for what it is (neat PVA works just as well), however it does the job.
