This Humbrol Modelcote Matt Cote Varnish can be applied over paint to protect and enhance. With a matt finish, the solvent-based varnish goes on clear and dries clear, overcoming the yellowing effect associated with traditional varnishes.
The varnish dries to a smooth, low-sheen matt finish.
It can be used on common plastics used for plastic kits, including polystyrene and ABS, as well as MDF. Matt cote is usually applied as the final coat to a fully painted model.
