Cricut: How to Make an Adventure Scrapbook Layout
Use your Cricut machine to create a beautiful scrapbook layout to document your latest adventures! With the draw and score features, add your own sentiments, toppers and pockets to create a scrapbook spread that captures your most special memories of every adventure.
The Cricut Maker has been used to create this project; however, it can also be made using a Cricut Explore machine.

How to make
Start by opening up the project in the Cricut Design Space app using the project link at the top of this post, or alternatively use the link below - https://design.cricut.com/landing/project-detail/60a2591477f15603f45604fd
To access the project, copy and paste the link into your browser, you will be directed to a Cricut ladning page, select 'Open' followed by 'Open Cricut Design Space Application'.
The app will open (you may be prompted to log in) and the project overview screen will appear.
If you want to edit or add any additional pieces do so now, then resize to match the rest of the project.
Head to 'Make it' and cut out all of the pieces, when prompted add the pen and the scoring tool to draw and score any pieces that require it.
Start with the left-hand spread by collecting together all the cut pieces and any photos you want to include.
Start by sticking down the trees to the bottom of the left-hand page, use a mix of double-sided tape and foam tabs to add dimension.
Next, glue the sentiment into place in the right-hand corner using foam tabs.
Use a glue pen to adhere all the stars and circles into place across the page to create a starry sky.
Stick the photos into place tucking them behind the tops of the trees. Add matching washi tape to the photos to add colour to the layout.
Then it's time to get started on the right-hand page, start by gluing down the large sunshine piece.
Carefully add the coloured rays into the blank spaces, adding foam pads to the back of some to add height.
To finish the sunshine section, add the sentiment to the centre with foam pads.
Next, fold the score lines on the pocket and glue together, then add the drawn piece to the front.
Lay down strips of washi tape to the right-hand side of the page. Place the pocket piece on top of the washi in the right-hand corner, tucking any photos and ephemera inside.
Add some journaling to the tag then glue that into place in the top left-hand corner of the page to finish.
