Q - How do I apply Printable Iron-on Vinyl?
Printable Iron-On works differently than traditional iron-on. Think of it like a heat-activated sticker. Do NOT mirror your design before printing it. Once printed, peel the design away from the liner and place it onto your desired surface. Then, place the included pressing sheet on top of the design and press. This step ensures ink does not transfer to the heat press.
Q - How do I know which side is the front or back of the material?
Printable Iron-On For Light Fabrics is printed with a green grid on the back of the material. Printable Iron-On For Dark Fabrics has a QR code sticker on the back of the material. Check your printer’s instructions or print a test page on printer paper to ensure you are loading the material with the correct side up.
Q - Should I use an inkjet printer or a laser printer with these materials?
These materials are designed for Inkjet printers only. Laser printers, and your material, may be damaged as laser printers use heat to affix toner to the page.
Q - Can I use printable materials with Transfer Tape?
No, these materials are designed for a peel and stick experience to remove them from the liner. Transfer Tape could damage the printable coating or remove the ink from the sticker.
