Floristry
This cheerful multi-media arrangement was inspired by Summer days. Nothing for me evokes Summer more than bright colours, sunflowers, butterflies and bees. To the sunflowers, I added some tulips in purple and bright yellow to really make the colours pop. As you can see, I like to add non-conventional quirky multi-media elements to my arrangements, such as the large knitted sunflower, crocheted bee and red velvet mushroom.

Mixed Media Cricut
An Alice in Wonderland inspired sign using a hanging oval wood slice plaque. The wording is black adhesive vinyl, cut using a Cricut. With added real moss, felt roses and leaves, little wired mushrooms, sunflowers, and many printed card details. Alice's skirt is gathered gingham and net fabric.

Pyrography
The moon is actually a moon-shaped knot in the wood slice and that, and my love of Tolkien inspired this whole piece of artwork. Starting with a pencil sketch of the little Hobbit home and tree, I burnt all the outlines into the wood with a pyrography iron. Finally, I painted using a mixture of acrylics and watercolours, adding an iridescent medium to give a pearlescent shimmer to the paints.
