Step 1

To begin, open up the Leonardo Design Studio and to create your design select "Design".

Step 2

To add your text first select the “T” button at the bottom of your design screen.

Type your wording, select your font and other design requirements such as the boldness of your writing, and also the left alignment like we have.

Step 3

Resize your text as required. When you are happy with your design select “Send Design”.

Step 4

Check your selections and then press “Send”.

Step 5

In this project we wanted to cut the HTV straight from the roll so selected “Material Roll”. Furthermore, we wanted to use the cut settings directly from the machine so then selected “Use Cutter’s Settings”. Finally, as we are cutting HTV we also selected “Mirror”.

Step 6

Load your material into the machine ensuring you position your blade in the bottom left corner as it will start cutting from this position. As we were cutting our project from a roll, we fed the material in through the back of the machine.

Step 7

On the Juliet we selected the setting for Easyweed. Once you have everything in place, select “Send To Cutter” on the LeonardoDesignStudio software.

Step 8

Before proceeding, ensure the blade has been inserted into the machine.

Step 9

Once the design has finished cutting, remove it from the machine and weed your design.

Step 10

The correct heat settings from the EasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl can be found in the LeonardoDesignStudio software under the Material Library tab.

Step 11

Press your project slowly and once finished remove the liner.

Step 12

Et Voilà! Your beautiful canvas bag is complete.
