Space, the final frontier…
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise….
Or at least when it’s built it will be.
This is something I’ve wanted for a long time, and after receiving Christmas money I have finally treated myself.
The model itself seems well made, it’s not too flimsy and appears to be relatively straight forward to follow the instructions.
So far I’ve had it out the box, so as I progress I may well update this review.
However, for now, I’m happy with my purchase and look forward to hours of putting together this replica of the USS Enterprise, NCC 1701.

Barging NCC-1701 USS Enterprise TOS
Managed to find this in Hobby crafts sale so it was a bargain. A quick inspection of the Bruce, all appears to be in order. The box opens with a flap on the side, so if your like me will require a tub to place the detached components as there is not a top lid for use.
It now site in my growing collection of models to build all of which will be lite up with LEDs, these will be controlled by an Arduino processor. This will of course allow me to look for etchings and/or resin parts to give some fine details.

Good representation of the classic Enterprise.
Probably one of the more accurate kits of the renowned starship. Not without it's faults (the panel lines on the main hull are too deep but do reflect the version of the Enterprise shown in he tribble episode in DS9) but these can be overcome quite easily with a little effort or built as is.
The potential for lighting is very good with considerable transparent parts and all of the parts fit well with minimal filling required. The decals are well printed and comprehensive.
All in all a good kit which rewards some additional effort on the part of the modeller.

Resistance is futile
Still in the box, not even opened it, dont want to ruin it. Wont go faster than warp 7.7 well not whilst in the box anyway. By the way there were 4 lights

Star Trek 1701 Enterprise Ship.
It was over a 60 mile round trip for me to pick this up but luckily it was held onto for 4 weeks before being refunded. Box was in good condition, I got it half price and there were none left to buy anywhere else unless I paid around £45. It's a lot bigger than I thought. 10/10.
