A rewarding choice for all skill levels.
I recommend checking out “Kits and bits” build on YouTube (rigging and cloth sail tips especially) also the excellent Fine Scale Modeller thread on the internet. The average modeller can get a quality result from this kit, fewer shields painted plain red with a mat black wash look much better to my mind. As per the FSM photo, the decidedly inauthentic dragon figurehead is best left off - in real life the Vikings often stowed them away. A quick, really enjoyable build.

Very enjoyable to make, and very beautiful when finished. This was a gift for our daughter. Not sure if she will get it as it's so nice.

Good kit
Good instructions and not too hard to assemble. Manufacturer replaced a missing part with no fuss too. Enjoyable project to work on.

It's a nice model, if not a little expensive for what it is. However the 3 stars is because you dont get any glue in it and for the price I would have expected glue. We didn't know this until we got home and started to try and do it.
