The Revell Vought F4U-1A Corsair Model Set is the perfect gift for any model collector, with paint, glue and a brush included with the kit.

The Vought Corsair was one of the most unusual but also most successful navy aircrafts of World War II. Feared by the Japanese opponent who gave her the nickname Whispering Death, she fought her way through the Pacific Heaven from 1943 to 1945 and achieved record -breaking successes.

The concentrated firepower of the Corsair consisted of six 12.7mm browning MGs. Her characteristically kinked wings gave her a high recognisability among the ground troops.

In 1:32 scale, this model set is a great project for model building enthusiasts aged 12 years and over. It features structured surfaces, a detailed double star engine, a detailed cockpit with an instrument board, a pilot figure, a movable propeller and more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jockster from Oops, old tooling! Nice enough kit for beginners, low parts count but well manufactured. However I bought the kit thinking it was a new tool!
