Very pretty finishing touches to homemade jam
I'm making jam for my wedding favours and these floral toppers look super pretty and really finish off the look of the favours. It's a little bit fiddly getting the toppers fitted to the lids with the elastic bands (I find winding the elastic band around twice helps), but a relaxing task to sit down and do. I used the twine to tie around the lids, in order to hide the elastic bands and tied as a bow, so the twine only went as far as 5 of the jars I'm using, but twine is cheap to buy separately. All in all really pleased with the look.

pretty but not realy a set.
The fabric covers only fit smaller jars. but the elastic bands supplied are too big for same. and only enough string for about 6 jars. I used them where i could but
had to go back to puchase more string and larger covers.

Perfect for my needs
Didn't use these for jam - but used jam jars to make up a Christmas present idea and these toppers were ideal for turning the lids from jam jar lids to gift jar lids

The personal touch
The floral jam jar topper kit is brilliant. I have family in lockdown in Wales and Lancashire and have not seen them for months. What has kept me going is making small gifts for family and friends. Most recently I made apple chutney and the lovely labels and pretty floral lid toppers elevated the gifts to another level ( and lifted my spirits). The chutney is now ready to deliver in safer times!,

Jam pot covers
The pot covers are very pretty and a nice fabric. Sadly, they are too small a diameter and a struggle to get them to stay over the lids of the jars. I would have done better to buy remnants and make my own.

Floral jar top covers are too small for most uk jars and the back has been treated with vylene is too stiff and is difficult to use with the elastic bands.
