Not as strong as the original blade
Disappointed in the strength of these replacement blades, the original blade that came with the handle was a lot stronger and therefore had more control. Also ended up taping the blade to the handle to make it more secure.

sharp but can be brittle
This ia a product with which i am very familiar as i have used it ever since attending art school way back when. it is extremely sharp, but can be a bit brittle when cutting round corners. i ended up buying this no.11 blade because the store had run out of the shorter fatter no.10a.

Great replacement blades.
Needed replacement blades in order to cut a piece of canvas board into an irregular shape for a painting I’m doing.
They were really good. I’m coming back for some more blades to fit a different scalpel holder.

razor sharp quality blades
These blades are razor sharp and ideal for fine cutting plastics and wood in tight spaces, although they are NOT recommended for heavy cutting they are fine for most situations

Swan are a very high quality blade for modelling and will outlast most blades,don’t take my word for it give them a try you won’t go back to your old blades
