Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection! Tamiya paints are just fantastic! You can brush them, spray then, mix them, and the finish is just so neat and professional! I have a friend which has just began modelling, and even his models looks professionally done with these paints! I highly highly highly recommend them for anyone! And at £2 a pot you really cannot complain! It’s a bargain!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality paint I use this product and other colours of this brand and it’s nothing short of excellent. If correctly thinned and used in air brush it layers and drys so well. The small bottle goes a extremely long way. I just don’t think there’s better on the market right now than this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent product. This paint is exceptionally good. It covers well, is easy to brush apply, and when suitably thinned is excellent in an airbrush. Being acrilic, brushes and equipment can be cleaned easily in warm soap water. Probably the best modelmaking paint range on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's paint Acrylic paints have the advantage over oil based, no need for chemical cleaners. Tamiya offer a great range that can be mixed to get the shade you want. They thin well and spray adequately if you want that 'professional' look to your display models.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from all good except for some online info Online I was told that most of your acrylic paint, (not including Tamiya, Humbrol and Revell) was fine to use in my airbrush. Turns out that, that is total rubbish, luckily in the store there was someone 'USMAN' who new what he was talking about.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's just paint The Tamiya range of paint I find works well with my Awata air brush, generally just drop it in and away you go. It's a little thin for use with a paint brush and usually needs a second coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All good What can you say it's a Tamiya acrylic paint, does what it says on the tin. I would advise giving a good shake / stir before using, other than that it's all good..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Careful! Great product as usual, but caution, I thought I was buying XF - 1 and ended up with a semi gloss spray as a primer for a tiger tank! (probably just me ...).

Please can you tell me the dry times between coats or touch dry . Also can it be used outside as well inside and could it be used on granite or marble

Asked by: Anonymous
I wouldn't recommend it for anything outside as it's water based. Typically it's touch dry within an hour between coats
