Smooth finish from Tamiya
As with all Tamiya paint products the colour is easy to use and on a well prepared surface produces a smooth thin coating which does not obscure small details on models. Easy to apply by brush, or suitably thinned by airbrush. I use an initial wash in thinners to clean a brush, then a little dish washing liquid and warm water to clear the thinners. Rinse the brush thoroughly, dry it, and then store in a clean dry place with the bristles uppermost.

A great product at a great price.
I have been making, sculpting and creating figures for decades and have always gone for a combination of acrylic paint and spray.
The Tamiya range has good, strong colours, decent coverage and are not too opaque. A little thinner and they go through the airbrush really well too. Really impressed with them, especially the metallics. Almost as strong colour as enamel paints but wash out easily in water.
Highly recommended.

Excellent coverage
I purchased this paint for my husband to use on his remote control car. He was very pleased with the results. I have used the remaining paint to decorate part of my Led Christmas truck, also bought from Hobbycraft and I think the quality of the product is excellent. It is best to apply two coats of paint for best results. Whilst the pot may seem small, a little goes a long way.

Fantastic
Really good quality paint. Purchased for art work rather than model making as it has a deep lustre and chrome like quality most others do not.
I've found it hard to find a good silver rather than metallic grey and this paint is exactly what i was looking for

Good finished result
I bought this paint to cover the plastic heels of a pair of silver shoes. Did the trick very well Took two coats, but dried very quickly and the result looks good. Not sure how long it will last if it gets knocked, but can easily be retouched

Great coverage
I used this on the exhausts and details
Of my tamiya model kit. I tried it with and without primer and I would definitely recommend using it after the object has been primered.
Thin coats works best.
Keeps the metallic feel when dry.

Chrometastic!
Need to add some chrome bling to your models or art projects? If so the Tamiya X-11 is for you. The chrome silver is bright and vibrant, perfect for bumpers or light surrounds and for adding bright silver to art.

Excellent paint
I already knew that Tamiya products were good quality but I was surprised at how quick the paint dried and of the overall finish. Will be sticking to Tamiya paints in the future.
