Gives a smooth finish
This product from Tamiya is useful for creating a super smooth, shiny finish.
Simply add to your Tamiya paint, then add X20-A thinner and airbrush for a smooth, sleek finish.
The more clear you add the smoother and shinier the finish will be.
I normally use 1 part paint to one part clear to one part X20-A thinner and airbrush in several light, thin coats.

Clear tamiya paint
OK you just cannot fault tamiya paints. This clear is especially great to mix in with other tamiya paints or, as I do, mix in powered pigments. It goes on your model great through an airbrush and gives good coverage if mixed properly. Overall I would highly recommend this product from beginner model maker up to professional.

Good non yellowing varnish
As a brush painter and not one to use an airbrush on my models, this varnish is the best I have used. It brushes well and dries very quickly, protecting the painted surface and making the surface decal ready.

Easy to use, good finish!
Using acrylics for model kit painting instead of the traditional enamels, tried another brand (not stocked) this is a far better product, smells while painting but once dried and cured great finish!

Tamiya Paints.
As with all tamiya paints the clear, x-22 acrylic does exactly what it says on the tin, (or in this case, the glass jar). In my opinion the Tamiya range can't be bettered

A great product
Tamiya clear is a great product that gives your model a smooth protective clear coat that allows decals to be applied or weathering techniques to be used.

Bought this and small tub off the colour gold leaf to fix metallic trim round my Nana's fire don't know if she has used this yet hence why only 3 stars
