Consistently good paint range
Having been a modeller for well over 40 years it was hard for me to move away from the enamel paints that I grew up with but Tamiya acrylics have generally good pigment, they are easy to stir ready for use and they literally stay in good condition for years - I have some colours that are more than 15 years old and still useable. The paints dry quickly, have a constant viscosity for airbrushing yet do not dry too quickly on the airbrush tip. And it may seem a strange asset to comment on but they also smell nice! Definitely recommended.

Great product and price
As a person who is an avid modeller Tamiya paint is something I use for almost all of my painting. The price at Hobbycraft Belfast was no more expensive than online which is was great to find out and as there are virtually no model shops left in Belfast this place has kits, tools and paints it's pretty much everything you'd hope to find if you want to browse kits and accessories definitely recommended.

Proper black acrylic paint
I assembly a dozen or so models per year and a black paint is always needed. I have both gloss and matt paints, from several suppliers (Humbrol, Revell) but I was not always happy with the final effect, so I decided to give a try to flat black from Tamiya, this time.
Bullseye!
I applied it with airbrush/compressor and the effect is really great!

Painting a Hawk T1 Model Aeriplane
The Hawk T1 has a completely black exterior. The paint was brushed on yet the model looks like it has been sprayed, with a very even surface.
I even touched up a few scratches on my camper vans alloy wheels, and cant find where I touched up as it blends in so well.

Reasonable paint
Purchased this for a flat matt black covering. This product is ideal for spray painting but applying by brush as I did does required a few coats. Having said this it is very good for small details that need a brush to cover easily.

Great paint, especially when sprayed
Good coverage and consistancy, make sure stirred well to get most from the jar as it does settle quite a bit. Watch out in store for the correct placement, quite often the XF (flat colours) are mixed up with the X (gloss) jars

Superb paint
Used this last night on a King Tiger Revell model to give my model a dark undertone, and it went on beautifully and dried perfectly. Now Tamiya flat acrylic paints are my go to and preferred acrylic model paint

What can I say!
Tamiya acrylics, great product, easy to thin, easy to apply whether by brush or air brush, smooth application coats well, excellentvalue too. What's not to like.
