Tamiya acrylic modelling paint
After a long break from modelling I decided to move from spirit based enamel to acrylic paints, I am very impressed with the Tamiya paints, good colour range, great coverage even when thinned to help flow, so far I have only been using bristle brushes for application, but hoping to fire up my new air brush soon.
Hobbycraft have competitive pricing compared to many online shops and are now my go to for my modelling supplies.

Life saver!
Having lockdown and being housebound, for my husband model making has been a life saver. Painting the models with Tamiya paints brings them to life. The range at my local hobbycraft is excellent. He always finds what He needs.

Good coverage
Excellent coverage and opacity, even when thinned for airbrushing. Few, if any, brush marks visible when I used a paint brush. I would suggest using tamiya thinners,to clean up with (X20A, I think it is). Recommend.

Good quality product
I've used these paints for many years and find they cover really well. The cost of the paint is fair and you have a good stock of colours, also I find the colours look realistic when dried overall very pleased.

German Grey Model paint, nice colour
This shade is a nice colour, I have used it to paint a slate church roof and the colour is good ,not too dark or too light. I would recommend this shade.

This paint has great coverage and density , dries quickly and can be sprayed when thinned. On some surfaces a degreaser can help adhesion .
