Great but stinks.
Having used tamiya extra thin for many years, usually buying them direct from the far east as not many shops carry them in the UK. I always found them a great addition to the warchest. I was surprised to see them in stock in a store, so i decieded to pick up the 'quick setting' version.
Like its earlier counter part, it stinks to high heaven due to the solvent levels. Prolonged use does give headaches so that has to be factored in when using it.
The product is an escpecially thin solvent that when touched to a join of plastic disappears behind it and glues it from within, with very little residue on the front of the model. This allows for two plastic pieces to be together before applying glue rather than glueing and pressing 2 pieces together often creating overspil of glue. This quick setting version saves even more time and increases model progression speed.
This glue is especially handy when securing the body of a model car to the 'bucket'/ engine compartment of the kit. Especially with the quick setting version.

Quick, thin and goes a long way.
This thin glue is perfect for joining awkward model parts together quickly so you don't have to hold them together for ages, capillary action draws the thin glue into all the gaps and welds the parts together for a secure and solid fit. Highly recommended. You can place the parts together first then just touch the supplied brush onto the join and hey presto, bonds in no time at all.

The best model glue out there
I have long used Tamiya's regular liquid cement in the green bottle. I then discovered Tamiya's lime green bottle, which is extra thin and fast drying glue. All you do is place the two parts together, and then dab a little bit of Extra Thin glue into the joint, and it works like magic, creating a strong bond without any mess.

Fantastic
Tamiya thin cement works by 'melting' the plastic together and does so in under 10 seconds. The applicator makes it easy to apply to even the smallest pieces and it dries so quickly you won't be sat there holding two pieces together forever.
A must buy.

Ideal for Model kits
Great for building Model kits. It has its own brush to apply it and dosee not make a mess when used properly. It's also quick setting and make a strong bond between the plastic very quickly.Second bottle I have used and very very pleased with the results.

Excellent
This is an amazing product for my son and his model making. He is building tiny war hammer figures and after reading about this cement decided to try himself. With its tiny brush there is no accidents or mess procise action in 10 secs dried. Highly recommended from all kinds of modeling using plastic. It works by reacting with the plastic (acts better than a factory seal)
