Surface Primer by Tamiya
I have used a number of primers over the years, but particularly like the Tamiya version. The spray can gives you a nice even coat, which is thin enough to avoid spoiling the detail on the 1/56 scale 3D printed AFV's I am painting at the moment. I also like the very light grey colour of the primer, which makes the fine detail on the models stand-out clearly.

Good quality primer for plastic models
Good quality primer for plastic models. I used it for my plastic model car.The finish is quite good and the primer dries within minutes.The spray is good too unlike some which splutter at times.

This product is an easily applied, soft primer suitable for plastic. It is small and not particularly good value. But mandatory for a pro finish. It is too soft for any hard usage areas or for use on metal and it also has poor adhesion on aluminium,

Expensive Product But Very Useful.
Although this product is expensive for what it is , its incredibly useful when modelling. I need a good surface to use my Tamiya paints on, plus a mix of Mr HOBBY colours using my air brush and brush paints. This product works very wekll and provides a good key for paint. Also used for showing up imperfections in repair and filling work. Very good product by Tamiya.
