Good fun, v easy to do but no instructions
Bought this kit and did it with my 6 year old, you need t add water to the clay to make it pliable, there are no instructions in the box but just googled it.
The clay is air dry and took about two days to dry.
The paints it comes with are good and a generous amount of colours.
You also get loads of tools to shape and build the clay.
We found it really fun, although waiting for the clay to dry before painting and not knowing how many days it would take to dry was annoying - wish hobby craft would just include instructions!

Good but NO INSTRUCTIONS
Nice little kit for the kids to do. The biggest issue is there are no instructions or directions as what type of clay curing method - is it baked or air dry - how long to bake it if it were to be baked. Fortunately we found the answer in the reviews below - it’s an air dry clay and can take up to two days to dry - we’ll see…..
The box does say “retain for reference” but reference to what??? There are no instructions to reference!
Needs more information on curing!

Fantastic experience
An absolute bargain for the price. Great choice of paints, useful tools and brushes. Clay good quality and like others just add a very little amount of water to soften although heat from your hands softens it nicely. Ok no instructions but pictures on front give examples and internet has lots to show you what to do.

Poor quality clay and no instructions
Poor quality clay and no instructions to find out where we might have been going wrong. Hobbycraft refunded us no problem and we instead bought the packs of DAS clay.
Good value though as the paintbrushes and tools are good quality.
