Tala 1lb Jam Pot Cover Kit brings you the perfect kit for sealing and labelling your homemade preserves! Designed for use with 1lb jars, the kit features 24 transparent covers, 24 waxed discs, 24 rubber bands and 24 self-adhesive labels.

Proudly made in England by a small team of specialists, this is an essential kit for adding the finishing touches to your jams and preserves.

Pot the jam or preserve and cover with waxed disc while the preserve is still piping hot. When the jam has cooled, this should be topped with a damp cellophane disc and secured with elastic band. The cellophane shrinks when dry to create a tight seal over the jar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nannyalso from mix of sizes in one pack would be of more use. had a go at making chutney after a glut of tomatoes. I recycled jars but thought it best to play safe and seal with these. There is a nice mix of the waxed and clear circles. I think that a mixture of sizes in the pack would be helpful to buyers especially if using recycled jars to help the environment. Not too bad a price.
