Premium Artist Pad A4 25 Sheets

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK but not special I use these pads to do everyday portraits in water soluble coloured pencil. When I first used them I wasn't sure how they would react to the water, but they were fine. Although I wouldn't use them for top notch pictures they are certainly very good for these everyday portraits. I was rather unhappy that the first time that I bought one to try they were £4, but on returning after trying it out I found that they had been priced at £5. A very sharp increase in price. So I have now gone on to Wilko watercolour pads which although under £3 are better quality and can be used for special pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the price is excellent for the amount of sheets the paper is good basic quality .no frills but does the job well..i do watercolours and inks on it and have had no problems at all......sometimes care is needed when detaching the sheets from the pad. because the glue is quite strong and ive ripped a few. but just be careful and youll be ok

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Premium artist pad review I find this paper good for working with coloured pencils. It has enough texture to hold the pencils and helps bring out the vibrancy of the colours. It wouldn't really work well for any kind of wet media though, but I didn't buy it with that in mind. What might be nice is a section that tells you about the paper itself, like if its acid free or the gsm. Overall I'd say its decent paper though and I have had fun creating with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drawing Paper You know, there are so many different types of paper made available now, a massive range of paper weights and textures and a huge array of different sized pads. All available at Hobbycraft. I prefer gum-bound pads of paper to spiral-bound, removing pages is less problematic and far more tidy. This premium range product offers a beautiful tooth to draw on and those beautiful white pages.
